How We Met
We met at Hancock Dog Park in Austin, TX. Thea’s pup, Millie, and Dmitri’s dog Luna had become friends at the park, so it was natural that they met often. A frequent “Hi” turned into a sentence or two, and then into conversations. Probably helped that Dmitri noticed the time she came to the park and tried to come around that time to see her. After not too long, Dmitri asked her out on a romantic date where they painted and jumped on trampolines. And they ate a lot of ramen. Well, Dmitri ate a lot of ramen. Thea ate a normal amount. But before torching their acrylic pours, Dmitri said, ‘I really want to kiss you.’ Thea said yes, and so they did. And that’s when these two weirdos started falling in love.
